Hello! I'm Courtney. I'm happy you're here.
I truly cannot remember a time where I wasn't creating. I've been tattooing for three and a half years, and I couldn't be more thankful for the craft of tattooing. If I'm not making art, I'm most likely outside enjoying mother nature.
As a teenager when I really started to take drawing seriously, I used it as a way to express myself. It was a way to process thoughts, feelings and emotions. While I still do that through my art, I've come to understand that I no longer wish to create for myself only. I get to create for all of the wonderful people who choose to get tattooed. The art of tattooing has acted as a container for connection and growth for myself and my clients. Tattooing is ceremonial in its most ancient right, and I try to remember the importance of this act during every tattoo session. Sometimes we get tattooed, just because, and other times we get tattooed for transformation, or in remembrance of important people or seasons we've passed through. Whatever your reason for getting tattooed, I am most thankful if I get the chance to be a part of it.
