Lighthouse with heart 'light' - 7.5" x 3"
One of the first things I ever drew was a lighthouse. This is only the second one I've drawn but it feels very important to me. I drew this one with a heart shaped light coming from the top. I think we can all use love as our guiding light. May we all have our metaphorical lighthouses to help guide us on whatever course our ship is set on.

Barn owl - 6.5x11" *Claimed
Barn owls are known for their incredibly silent flight and unbelievable sight in the darkness. I think both of these things can be taken and turned into some animal wisdom and traits us humans would love to embody..Silent flight meaning, moving in a way that doesn't cause a big ruckus. Moving methodically and quietly, not chaotically...as far as sight in the darkness goes...I think that translates pretty literally in terms of being able to see through hard times or circumstances that may not be the sunniest. I really enjoyed creating this owl.
Preferred placements are outer thigh, shoulder blade, and upper arm may work depending on arm size.

Chickadee 7x5" *Claimed
Preferred placement would be shoulder blade, upper outer arm, thigh. Open to other ideas
Whenever I hear a chickadee do it's little 'chicka dee dee dee dee dee' call it makes me smile. It just sounds so very joyful and sweet. Chickadees are also very very good at adapting during cold weather. They've been known to create stores of food to prepare for winter (and are very good at remembering where they hid the goods) and on really cold nights they can lower their body temperature to conserve energy and survive deadly temperatures. They are cheerful, adaptive, resourceful and cute as all hell.
Doe and snowdrops 7.5x5"
preferred placements are shoulder, thigh, calf. Open to other ideas.
It occurred to me as I walked through one of my favorite woods the other day, that I'm taking the path of a very incredible creature. I follow the deer paths because I know they travel efficiently, rather than up the steepest part of the hill or through clumps of thorns. They know the best route. The doe is a path maker. I'll always follow her paths.

Sigils are markings made with intention. You can create any marking to carry a certain energy. To help you understand how ancient and sacred this practice is, and to show respect, I would like to point out some of the cultures that used this practice. In Mesopotamia the Sumerians and Babylonians used sigils on amulets and talismans for protection and good fortune dating all the way back to the 3rd millennium BCE. In Scandinavia, the use of sigils ( they’re called runes in this culture) are a fine example of symbolic “magic” . This practice emerged around 400 BCE.
